About us

 Mavis is a small vintage caravan built in the 50’s. In 2015, she was given a new lease on life.  Some may say a face lift and a new purpose, with that one purpose to bring happiness and joy into your special event.

Mavis is a small family business run by me with support from my husband and our blue Staffy ‘Pippa’, and our promise to you, is to keep Mavis looking her best, but remember she is old and does have a few wrinkles.

In 2020 along came Covid, an unknown for the world and bringing uncertainty to the wedding and party industry, where health advice forced Mavis to sit idle again. Now that things are back to normal, Frankie and Mavis can’t wait to help you celebrate your event with something a little unique and cool.

Myself and my husband (who has an Engineering qualification and is the one that keeps Mavis moving and safe) have both lived in the Brisbane area for most of our lives. We are both hopeless romantics and have ourselves been married for over 37 years; we have a beautiful family with several grand kids with one grandson named, you guessed it, Frankie.
